Welcome to Northern Ireland. The variety of this small country is amazing – from rolling landscapes and hazy mountains, intriguing towns and villages to some of the most vibrant, cultural and history-rich cities. If ever there was a time to experience Northern Ireland, then this is it! Come join us and experience it all. We’ve no doubt that when you have visited – you will want to return. Only in Belfast can you follow Titanic’s remarkable journey from the drawing board to the slipways. Housed in an iconic, six-floor building, Titanic Belfast is in the heart of Belfast, right beside the historic site of this world-famous ship’s construction.

Our private tour to Northern Ireland is totally informal, relaxed and not reliant on anyone’s schedule except our own.
To assist passengers to budget accordingly, we have included a full Irish breakfast each day and a 3 course supper 6 evenings. Lunches will be on your own and convenient lunch stops will be made where you can choose either a light meal or a full lunch menu. All hotels have an elevator, restaurant and of course a bar.
As this is a private tour with our own charter vehicle and driver, we can deviate wherever we need to in order to get the very best out of our visit to this amazing destination.



Northern Ireland


Day 1 - Travel to Northern Ireland
Depart Rapid City, SD connecting to overnight flights to Dublin, Ireland.

Day 2 – Arrive in Dublin, Ireland and transfer to Belfast – Northern Ireland
Depart Dublin airport and travel by bus the short distance to Newgrange for the 1st visit of the tour. The world heritage site is over 5,000 years old; here we have a guided tour. A lite bite and we’re off to Belfast through Newry to Lisburn. We take a tour of the Linen Centre founded in 1698 by the Huguenots. Belfast and our hotel is our next stop. A Welcome Supper is included this evening.

Day 3 – Belfast
After a good breakfast we depart the hotel for city tour to include sights like City Hall & Queen’s University and visit to the Titanic Centre, this new building dedicated to the shipbuilding in the city and of course the famous R.M.Titanic.  Supper is not included this evening.

Day 4 – Belfast to Derry
This morning after breakfast we’re off to Derry via the North Antrim Coastal route will take us to Carrick-a-Reed rope bridge which we cross on foot! And then we’re on to visit the Giants Causeway a world heritage site. After lunch, on our way to our hotel we stop to view Dunluce Castle, near the town of Bushmills, famous for its whiskey and is the oldest distillery in the world. Supper and overnight is in Derry City tonight. After Supper you will have a chance to enjoy the city’s nightlife nearby.

Day 5 – Derry/Londonderry City
After breakfast Martin McCrossan, our City Guide, will take us on a walk around the City walls and explain the history of this unique ‘walled city’. Crossing the river to the Waterside we get a unique view of the ‘Maiden City’. After midday the shops and other outlets in the city open for business, religion is still to the forefront here. You will have time this afternoon to enjoy an afternoon free to shop or explore other aspects of Derry. Dinner and overnight is again at the hotel tonight.

Day 6 – Donegal & Markree Castle
This morning we travel south to Omagh, here in 1998 a bomb exploded the aftermath changed the history of the troubled province of Northern Ireland for the better. We head on along the banks of Lough Erne to Belleek, home of exquisite Parian pottery. After lunch we cross the border again into the Republic. We visit Glencarr waterfall and the grave of WB Yeats at Drumcliff. Through Sligo town we travel to our next overnight at the magnificent Markree Castle, Collooney, home of the Cooper family since the 17th century. Dinner tonight is a special one at the dining Hall in the castle!

Day 7 – Sligo & Mayo Area
We leave Markree and head to Sligo for a short tour of this medieval town. Nearby is the largest Megalithic graveyard in Ireland at Carrowmore, here we get a guided tour. We then travel to Parkes Castle; here we board the Rose of Innisfree for a cruise on Lough Gill and see the ‘Isle of Innisfree’. Returning again to Sligo this afternoon, for our dinner again at Markree Castle.

Coast Northern Ireland

Day 8 – Dublin via Castles
Today we make our way to Dublin and we’ll overnight near Dublin airport at Clontarf Castle Hotel. On route from Markree we stop at Strokestown to visit the House, museum and gardens of this historic mansion. After we make our lunch stop at Tyrrrellspass Castle. Dinner and overnight in Dublin tonight.

Day 9 – Return flights from Dublin to Rapid City, SD
This morning the short 20 minute transfer to Dublin airport, here you bid farewell to Ireland with plenty time for last minute shopping at the Duty-Free in the airport before your flight home.
