Celebrity Equinox

Day 1 Wichita, KS to Ft Lauderdale, FL
After checking-in at ICT – Wichita, KS Dwight Eisenhower Airport, please go directly through to the departure gate so you don’t get caught in a long line for security. When you arrive in Ft Lauderdale, proceed to the baggage re-claim area for your flight and an ABS Travel Representative will meet you there. After all bags have been re-claimed, you will be directed to your transportation for transfer to the hotel in Ft Lauderdale for overnight.

Day 2 Transfer to Port Everglades & board Celebrity Equinox. Set Sail 4.00pm
Late this morning we leave the hotel and head for Port Everglades to board our floating resort – Celebrity Equinox. There will be minimal formalities to go through as most of the information required by the cruise line will have already been entered into their computer system by ABS Travel Group staff. On presentation of your Set-Sail boarding card you will be issued with your Seapass Card. (Just like a plastic credit card). This card acts as your room key, your charge card aboard ship and your personal ID Card for getting on and off the ship. Now you are onboard and it’s time to familiarize yourself with this amazing vessel. Maybe grab a quick bite to eat in the Ocean View Café before exploring a little. In your cabin you will find information concerning the ship together with your daily cruise information sheet. This is very important, so you always know what’s going on. The Emergency Lifeboat Drill is mandatory for all guests prior to the ship leaving port and details of the assembly time will be printed on this sheet. Please remember, there are some 3,500 plus pieces of baggage to be delivered to staterooms so please be patient, you may not receive your bags until after supper so as always, the first evening is pretty casual - normally what you have traveled in that day. Supper is served in the main dining room each evening and the time and place is noted on your Seapass Card. Tables are assigned as a group and friends/families will be allocated accordingly. The beautiful Celebrity Equinox is your home for the next 8 nights. All meals aboard ship are included and for those who have never cruised before, you are in for a treat. Supper is normally at 6pm but check your Seapass Card for the exact time and place. Sail at 4pm - better be out on the deck as we sail away and have a sail away drink in your hand!!!

Day 3 At Sea
You can have breakfast in your cabin, followed by breakfast in the main dining room, followed by a breakfast buffet up on deck if you like. Do some more exploring or just relax watching the majestic scenery go by.

Day 4 San Juan, Puerto Rico – 4:00pm to 11:00pm
Puerto Rico’s 500-year-old capital is a history buff’s dream come true. The Spanish settled this harbor as a New World home base, and that influence is still evident, from the fortress walls lining the coastline to the rainbow of colonial buildings along narrow streets. Venture further out from the old town and nature unfolds. You can scale high into the jungled mountains of El Yunque Forest, or keep to the foothills on a riverside horseback ride. If despacito is more your speed, pick a pristine beach and recline with codfish fritter and rum drink in hand.

San Juan

Day 5 Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas - 9:00am to 6:00pm
Charlotte Amalie is one of the world’s most beautiful harbors; blue waters peppered with sailboats and green hills dotted with quaint little cottages make for post-card perfect brags. Just outside the lively port town, you’ll find ribbons of powdery sand beaches dotted with hammocks. Cruise to St. Thomas and explore colonial landmarks like Blackbeard’s Castle or raise a pint of the local lager at quaint microbreweries. And when it’s time to fuel up, you’ll find plenty of beachside bars serving conch fritters, johnnycakes, and coconut patties. St. Thomas may technically be part of the U.S., but with its colorful markets, unspoiled beaches, and the ever-present sound of steel drums, you’ll feel a world away.

St Thomas

Day 6 Philipsburg, St Maarten – 8:00am to 6:00pm
What makes St. Maarten so unique is its blend of cultures. The island is home to 120 different nationalities speaking over 80 languages, and is governed by two countries: the Netherlands and France. In fact, it’s the smallest land mass in the world to be shared by two different nations. While it may be less than 40 square miles, there’s plenty to do on this little island: you can travel back in time while exploring centuries-old ruins and get your adrenaline fix ziplining through lush tropical forests. If you’re after a little rest and relaxation during your cruise to St. Maarten, you’ll find plenty of secluded beaches where you can work on your suntan before treating your taste buds to some of the best cuisine in the Caribbean.

St Maarten

Day 7 Tortola, British Virgin Islands – 7:00am to 3:00pm
The largest of the British Virgin Islands, Tortola is known for its shimmering beaches, oleander and hibiscus-covered mountainsides, and quaint towns tucked along coves. This early home to Blackbeard and Captain Kidd maintains its salty pirate legacy and rum-making traditions today. And adventure is a constant, whether you choose to wander the international capital city of Road Town or charter a boat in the sailing capital of the world. Get lost in melodic Bamboula drumming when you cruise to the Virgin Islands.

Tortola, BVI

Day 8 At Sea

Day 9 Nassau, Bahamas – 12:00pm to 6:00pm
Caribbean charm shines in the Bahamian capital, where you’re never more than a few steps away from rhythmic percussions, appetizing flavors, white-sand beaches, and some of the clearest waters in the world. This picture-perfect paradise was once a pirate’s haven— and you can explore its colorful past of buccaneers, blockade-runners and bootleggers along historical streets and at the three colonial fortresses that line the shores. If you’re looking for a more hands-on maritime adventure, look no further. Cruise to Nassau and swim with stingrays, dive with dolphins, or spot colorful coral on a glass-bottom boat. And just across the bridge is beautiful Paradise Island, home to world-famous luxury hotels and resorts. Spend the day at the famous Atlantis and splash your way through its expansive water park, grab a piña colada at the Marina Village, and spot the hammerhead sharks in Predator Lagoon.

Day 10 Ft Lauderdale – Arrival 7:00am
