In its early days, ABS Travel Group traded under the name of Black Hills Sightseeing which offered local tours to incoming travelers in and around the Black Hills of South Dakota. The business was created by Stuart Hall, current President of ABS Travel Group.
Stuart moved to South Dakota from England in 1990 and having been in the travel industry his whole life, brought with him a wealth of experience and knowledge. Stuart learned extensively his local history and was able to offer exceptional quality sightseeing tours. The business was a great success and on the back of this, Adventures by Stuart was formed.
Stuart wanted to grow the business and expand horizons by moving into fully escorted group tours, both inbound and outbound. Through investment in advertising and word of mouth, the client base grew throughout the five state region, as did the exceptional reputation of Adventures by Stuart. Tours increased, international destinations were introduced and the business expanded year after year.
Adventures by Stuart planned itineraries, handled incoming international groups, organized accommodations and all ground arrangements. Our fully experienced team is able to handle all travel requirements of both inbound and outbound passengers.
Eventually, in 2008, the business had grown again with new destinations, increased staff and new horizons. The business incorporated and ABS Travel Group was born.
